Perrysburg, OH – February 26, 2021 – Frazier Machine & Production, Inc., a state-of-the-art center for precision machining and production, is proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary. Much has changed since 1971, but Frazier Machine & Production has remained at the forefront of the precision machining and fabrication industry.
Frazier Machine & Production’s core competencies include custom-machined parts, prototype production, subassemblies, and custom gauge design, production, certification, and testing. They serve the aerospace, glass, alternative energy, electronics, and automotive industries, with glass being their largest market. “Frazier’s niche is our ability to machine a variety of different materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and castings,” said Jeff Frazier, President at Frazier Machine & Production.
Jeff’s father started the company with a background in machining fabrication. “My father was a great mechanical engineer out of Purdue University,” he said. “He always had a lot of interest in starting his own business around machining and mechanical applications, and he decided to finally make the jump in 1971.”
Over the past 50 years, the company’s products, services, technology, and manufacturing practices have advanced dramatically while maintaining a keen focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations and innovating for the future. According to Jeff, the company has had an interesting history with some ups and downs but has adapted well over the years to keep up with changing trends and better serve its customers.
“In 1976, roughly the entire building burnt down which was a tremendous setback for us,” he said. “Ultimately, my father decided it was worth putting the pieces back together. It was tough and there were times when he thought about giving up, but I’m certainly happy he pushed through the hard times to get us where we are today.”
The industry has changed quite a bit since Frazier Machine & Production first started 50 years ago. “When we first started, a majority of the equipment was manual,” Jeff said. “We’ve grown tremendously from a control standpoint. Now, all of our machines are programmable and higher tech.”
Frazier Machine & Production would like to extend their sincerest thanks to all their customers and suppliers over the years, especially those who have been around since the very beginning.
